Overview
Our respected client, a growing and forward-thinking Marketing business based in Birmingham City Centre, is seeking an experienced and driven Finance Manager to join their dynamic, medium-sized finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role in a business that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You’ll oversee a small team, lead on financial reporting and process development, and act as a trusted partner to senior management.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you’ll ensure that all financial reporting and analysis are accurate, timely, and insightful. You’ll play a key role in preparing management and financial accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and VAT returns, while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will also be assisting with managing transactional ledgers and the office.
Ideally, you will:
- Be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE) with a strong technical grounding in management accounting.
- Have prior experience in a commercial, or service-led role in an environment where you must wear multiple hats.
- Demonstrate your ability to improve processes and challenge the status quo.
- Be confident producing full management accounts, budgets, and forecasts with accuracy and insight.
