A global manufacturing business requires a newly qualified Accountant to join a vibrant growing team based in Solihull. You will act as a Finance Manager, managing a team of up to 17 staff. The role has a great split between management of the team, transformation project work and financial and management accounting duties.

Reporting directly to an experienced professional within the business, you will gain hands on exposure in training with a line manager with over 6 years experience with the business. Ideally, you will:

  • Be fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with experience in financial accounting and personal interest in the technical side of finance.
  • Have experience working in a large shared service centre or working for a large auditors.
  • Have proven influencing skills to help improve relationships across many departments of a large business, as well as being able to explain reasoning’s to team members and be a hands on manager.
  • Be a driven, talented and assertive communicator with the ability to build up a relationships with a large team of part qualified and junior team members and senior leaders within the business.
