Overview

Our client, a rapidly growing and well-regarded professional services firm located in the city centre, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their large accounts team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a contract, handling day-to-day client reporting, and supervising a small team of three individuals. This presents an excellent chance for those with supervisory experience who are eager to step into a role with greater managerial responsibilities.

Reporting to a director, the chosen candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and supporting a small team, working both on-site and off-site to ensure accurate and timely client reporting. Handling a unique clientele portfolio within the property sector, the ideal candidate should have prior experience in this domain due to the specialised reporting requirements. Working collaboratively with your team, you will compile month-end packs, which include accruals, prepayments, budgets, forecasts, variances, and addressing complex queries.

Skills required

  • Ideally, you should have prior experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Exposure to rent, lease/IFRS 16 in a corporate setting is preferred to facilitate a smoother transition.
  • Ideally, you should be a part-qualified accountant with the intention to continue your professional qualifications, or you can be Qualified by Experience.
  • Strong communication skills are essential as this is a client-facing position.
