Our client, a construction business in Birmingham is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team and complete their management accounts. You will have fantastic exposure opportunities in this role and will liaise with various stakeholders.

You will be loosely managing a small finance team whilst completing the management account pack end-to-end. Some duties of this role include completing balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals, and variance analysis.

What you will need

  • At least 3 years of experience of completing the management account pack is essential due to the responsibilities in this role.
  • To be a QBE candidate or be an experienced management accountant/Finance Manager in the finalist stage of their ACCA/CIMA qualification.
  • To be able to work 5 days a week in the office due to the requirements of this role. This business have a lovely office culture, meaning you get the opportunity of working with like-minded individuals.
  • To be very good using Microsoft Excel (pivot, vlookups) and be able to communicate with various stakeholders.
