Overview

A leading and growing legal services business is currently on the lookout for a Finance Manager to come and join their fantastic team based in Birmingham.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a personable and outgoing Finance Manager, someone who is keen to get stuck in and support the finance function and be able to confidently and effectively communicate with internal and external members of the team at all levels.

The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience in the legal sector and be familiar with either billing or cashiering processes. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in people management, be that a small or larger team.

Skills required

  • Have previous experience in managing a team of forward-thinking junior staff and be able to delegate and communicate effectively with the whole finance function.
  • Have previous experience of working in the legal sector or similar in order to understand and pick up processes effectively.
  • Have experience in either billing or cashiering in a fast-paced finance function.
  • Have experience in tight-dead lined month-end procedures.
