Finance Business Partner

Overview

Mitchell Adam are pleased to be working with a well-regarded professional services business based in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team. This role would suit someone who has gained experience in budgeting or management reporting and is now looking to build on that within a structured and forward-looking environment.

Supporting a senior Finance Business Partner, you will contribute to the delivery of financial information across a key division, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking alongside core management accounting responsibilities. The role will involve working with financial data to produce reporting, understand variances, and support a clearer view of performance across the business.

Alongside this, you will have regular interaction with stakeholders, helping to provide context around the numbers and supporting day-to-day queries. There will also be involvement in ad-hoc analysis, ongoing reporting improvements, and wider finance projects, giving you exposure to the more analytical and forward-looking side of finance.

Skills Needed

• Experience supporting management accounts, budgets or forecasts within a finance role.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain performance.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders.
