Finance Business Partner

A large, well-established organisation is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join its growing finance team. This is a high-impact role designed for someone who enjoys working closely with senior operational stakeholders, influencing decisions, and driving financial performance.

The Role

Reporting into a Senior Finance Business Partner or Finance Director, you will act as the key financial contact for a defined business area, providing insight, challenge, and commercial support.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with senior operational leaders to support budgeting, forecasting and performance management

• Producing and interpreting monthly management accounts and KPI reporting

• Delivering financial insight, variance analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and cost control

• Supporting business cases, investment proposals and strategic initiatives

• Challenging assumptions and driving accountability across budget holders

• Identifying risks and opportunities and ensuring they are reflected in forecasts

• Improving financial processes, controls and reporting

The Ideal Candidate

You will be someone who combines strong technical finance skills with the confidence to work with non-finance stakeholders.

You will bring:

• A professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), or be close to qualifying

• Experience in management accounting, business partnering, or commercial finance

• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills

• The ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels

• A proactive, analytical and solutions-focused mindset

Experience in a multi-site, fast-moving or asset-heavy business would be beneficial, but not essential.
