Finance Business Partner

My client is in need of a commercially astute Finance Business Partner to help steer our success, on the journey of a large fusion project connecting two key business areas tomorrow.

This is more than a numbers role – we’re looking for someone who thrives on turning insight into action, partnering with key stakeholders across the business to shape strategy, drive performance, and deliver real value.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, providing financial insights that support decision-making and growth
• Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and planning, aligning financial targets with business objectives
• Analyse key trends, risks, and opportunities – and challenge assumptions when needed
• Support strategic projects and investment appraisals
• Influence senior stakeholders through clear, impactful reporting and recommendations
• Collaborate with wider finance and commercial teams to drive continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience in a commercial finance role
• Strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate into actionable insights
• Experience in retail or a fast-paced, customer-focused business is desirable
