I am happy to be partnering with a well known stand out client, who are looking to add to their commercial finance team in Birmingham or London. The roles are Finance Business Partner and Commercial Finance Manager opportunities and require a commercial qualified candidate to step into the posts, ideally from a fast paced large corporate business. The roles give you high level exposure to senior stakeholders, autonomy, and the opportunity to add value to your area of the business.

The roles are available due to internal growth and progression. The ideal person for this position will be an experienced Finance Business Partner or a Senior Analyst within a large business, who is looking to advance in their career through developing as a true business partner with the ability to build and maintain credible relationships with key stakeholders and impact the wider business in key commercial projects. The perfect candidate will have advanced analytic skills and be used to dealing with a high volume of data and presenting.

Ideally, you will;

  • Be a qualified Accountant within the commercial world, ideally already having a background within a large corporate business in a fast paced industry. (candidates with a background on a graduate scheme programme or working for a fast paced business in telecommunications/utilities/contract based work would be an advantage).
  • Be able to work on all levels, able to interact with different people when relaying financial information, with a keen eye for detail and confident with any new suggestions made.
  • Work closely with the different stakeholders having the ability to manage their expectations, cater reports to how suits best and also act as a financial advisor with marketing, sales, business propositions, pricing, etc (dependent on which area you will be looking after.
  • Act quickly to situations that may occur, using initiative and commercial awareness of profitability and business.
