Finance Assistant

The successful candidate will be a motivated and personable finance professional who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. As your experience develops, you’ll take on increasing responsibility across the finance function, supporting month-end reporting, assisting with reconciliations and financial analysis, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to process improvements.

Skills Required

• Previous experience working within a finance environment, with exposure to areas such as purchase ledger.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to build positive working relationships across finance, operations, and external suppliers.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys learning new skills, taking ownership of their work, and contributing to the success of the wider finance team.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, with the ability to quickly adapt to new finance systems and embrace new ways of working.
