Finance and Office Manager

Overview

Mitchell Adam are excited to be partnering with a thriving SME services business in Solihull who are looking to appoint a high-energy, hands-on Finance & Office Manager to sit at the centre of their operation. This is a sleeves-rolled-up role for someone who enjoys ownership, pace and variety, overseeing the numbers while also keeping the office environment running smoothly within a close-knit, social and ambitious team.

Reporting directly to the MD and FD, you’ll take full responsibility for the finance function including management accounts production, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and maintaining strong financial controls. Alongside this, you’ll oversee key office management responsibilities, coordinating suppliers, managing facilities and contracts, supporting HR administration, and ensuring the operational side of the business runs efficiently day-to-day. You’ll work closely with commercial and operational colleagues to review margins, monitor costs, analyse revenue performance and provide clear, practical insight that supports decision-making. This is a visible and influential role where no two days look the same.

Skills Needed

* Proven experience in a well-rounded Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role within an SME environment.
* Strong technical grounding across management accounts, balance sheets, cashflow forecasting and financial controls.
* Comfortable taking ownership of operational or office management responsibilities alongside finance.
* Energetic, proactive and confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving team.
