Finance Analyst

Overview

Mitchell Adam are working with a well-established and expanding manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a commercially minded Finance Analyst into their dynamic finance team. This is a varied and analytical role, blending management accounts production with analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, within a fast-paced, production environment.

Sitting at the heart of the commercial finance function, you’ll take ownership of key reporting processes while working closely with international stakeholders across sales, operations and production. Alongside supporting full management accounts preparation, you’ll produce detailed margin and sales reporting, deliver product profitability analysis, and provide insight into production performance including WIP and cost movements. This role offers a strong mix of technical accounting, commercial analysis and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both the detail and the wider business impact of their work.

Skills Needed

* Experience producing or supporting management accounts within a manufacturing or product-led environment. This role is not suited to a data analyst.
* Strong exposure to budgeting and forecasting, with the ability to analyse trends and variances.
* Confident in producing margin, product and sales analysis, with strong Excel capability.
* Understanding of production costing, WIP reporting and cost analysis within an operational setting.
