Finance Analyst

Overview

Our client, a well-established and growing Financial Services business, is looking for a motivated Finance Analyst to join their friendly finance team. Working closely with the Finance Director and wider finance department, you’ll gain exposure across a broad range of management accounting responsibilities, and crucially analyse processes.

You’ll be involved in key month-end processes such as calculating accruals and prepayments, assisting with monthly accounts, reconciling balance sheets, and preparing key performance reports. You’ll also support on financial analysis and provide cover for purchase ledger and payroll when required, offering a well-rounded experience ideal for someone eager to progress in their accounting career.

Skills Needed

• Actively studying towards a professional qualification (CIMA or ACCA).
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivots and lookups.
• Confident working within a small finance team, and able to hit the ground running.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable meeting deadlines.
