Finance Analyst

Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be recruiting for a long standing client of ours based in South Birmingham. This client of ours, is a retail powerhouse and they are expanding other operational business units to accommodate for Junior Finance Analysts joining the team. The successful applicants will be partnered up with a qualified Finance Business Partner and assist in pulling the data out of excel to compile their reports.

The day to day in these positions will be a fast-paced analytical challenge, suitable for the motivated, studying accountant that sees in numbers. You will be conducting analysis on large data sets and communicating with non-financial stakeholders to present your conclusions and variance figures, allowing you to assist the team in the preparation of quarterly budgeting and forecasts – therefore, a capable ability in Excel will be useful.

Skills Needed

• Ideally, you will be coming from a background in retail and have an understanding of a fast paced environment.
• Have graduated with a finance qualification, and be currently studying your ACCA/CIMA.
• A confident communicator will excel in this role as you will work with a host of financial and non-financial stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• You will have prior experience and exposure in an industry accounts role, whereby you will have conducted analysis and communicated your findings.
