Overview

Our client is a well established service provider with locations throughout the UK; they are now searching for a Finance Analyst to join their head office finance team based in Solihull. This is a varied and highly commercial role; reporting to the Financial Controller you will provide the link between Finance and operational client facing teams, reporting on profitability of contracts, understanding operational costs, identifying potential commercial opportunity and presenting findings to the senior management team. In addition the successful candidate will support sales and marketing in pricing and contract bid tendering whilst also looking to make improvements to existing MI and reporting tools. This is a fast paced and commercial role, the key is the development of strong internal relationships to improve the financial focus of the business, as such the role will suit a financial background along with exceptional communication skills.

What is required

Be Newly Qualified by ACA/ACCA/CIMA

Educated to degree level, highly organised with strong Excel and reporting skills and a background in a finance department within a fast paced and complex organisation

Able to demonstrate outstanding communication skills, the ability to work outside of finance and building strong relationships with senior members of the management team

Looking to be part of fast paced vibrant organisation and make a real difference to performance

Keen to move away from a traditional accountancy role and progress your career in a more commercial direction
