Overview

A fast-growing business based just outside of Dudley, is in need of a temporary Finance Administrator to support their team over the summer period and cover them for a range of upcoming holidays within the team. This role here will be working alongside the finance team as well as the order processing team to ensure that invoices are being paid correctly, there is a lot of issues surrounding payments of these invoices so we are looking for someone who is a bit of problem solver who can come in and investigate what is holding up payment for these invoices!

This position is also going to be working closely with the Finance Director to support the team with ad-hoc tasks. What makes this role exciting is that the FD isn’t looking for someone with prior experience and instead is wanting someone who is eager to learn and is wanting to come in and just learn as much as possible during this three-month period. Additionally, what is quite exciting about this role is although it is originally temporary for three months, if you get in there and do a great job there is a chance this could lead to something longer term, or even permanent! The role is looking to start immediately so please only apply if you are immediately available.

Skills required

  • Have recently completed a relevant finance qualification such as a finance degree, or an AAT course.
  • Be someone who is eager to learn and eager to get stuck into their first finance position.
  • Be a positive individual who loves a challenge, this role is fast paced and we are looking for someone who is happy to get in and give it a go with a positive attitude!
  • Be strong with IT and systems as this role will be using a range of systems and being able to pick things up quickly will be essential. The key one is Microsoft Excel.
