Experienced Finance Assistant

Overview

Mitchell Adam have partnered with an established food and beverage organisation who are looking to add an Experienced Finance Assistant to their branch in Birmingham. The organisation have expanded in recent years and are keen to bring on a talented individual to join their vibrant team on an immediate basis. The branch is located a short walk from Birmingham City Centre, and is accessible by public transport and has on-site parking.

In this role the successful Experienced Finance Assistant will be expected to help out the Management Accountant when needed, this could be assisting with month-end processes and producing reports on the sales and purchase ledgers. The organisation are looking to invest their time in the successful candidate, they are hoping to train them and expose them to senior duties that will improve their knowledge and ability in the duration of their time in this position. As you assist the Senior Accountant, you colleagues will be eager to pass you a helping hand whenever necessary to help you complete your duties.

Skills Required

• To have at least one year of experience in an accounting role.
• A strong desire to go deep into the accounting industry and gain experience in senior duties.
• To be immediately available to start this role, or on at most a one week notice period.
• A key eye for detail as you will be working with numerical figures in this position.
