In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit control process, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding balances while maintaining accurate and well-managed customer accounts. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external customers, delivering a professional and service-driven approach at all times.
You will be driven and demonstrate a strong understanding of credit control processes within a busy finance environment. Managing a high-volume ledger, you will proactively chase outstanding debt, resolve queries efficiently, and support the business in meeting cash flow targets.
Skills required
- Previous experience in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role, ideally within a high-volume environment.
- Proven experience managing customer accounts, chasing debt, and resolving queries.
- Confident Excel skills and strong attention to detail when working with financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage challenging conversations professionally.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines, and consistently meet KPIs and targets.
