The successful Credit Controller will work within a supportive finance team, contributing to the shared management of the credit control function. You will assist with credit analysis, setting up customer and insurer-linked accounts, and ensuring credit limits are accurate. Working alongside colleagues, you will monitor outstanding balances, chase overdue debts, and liaise with medical insurers to secure timely payments. Duties will also include issuing statements, reconciling accounts, resolving billing queries, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records. Strong communication and organisational skills will be essential as you collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Ideally you will:

  • Have experience in a Credit Control role or similar financial position, ideally within the medical, healthcare, or wider services sector, but all sector experience will be considered.

  • Show excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple accounts, particularly insurer accounts efficiently.

  • Possess outstanding communication skills to liaise professionally with insurers, patients, and internal teams, ensuring swift resolution of queries.

  • Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
