A long-established and respected business is seeking a dependable and methodical Credit Controller to join its friendly finance team. The Credit Controller will take responsibility for managing customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time, and keeping accurate financial records. Day-to-day duties will include preparing statements, reviewing and maintaining credit limits, reconciling ledgers, and following up on overdue balances. Accuracy and an organised approach will be key, as will clear communication when liaising with customers and colleagues across the company.
Ideally you will:

Have previous experience in Credit Control or a similar accounts-based role.

Work carefully and systematically, with strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies.

Have excellent communication skills and be confident handling customer queries, following up on payments in a professional manner and collaborating across the company.

Have experience with Accounting Software and comfortable using Excel.
