Credit Controller

Our Birmingham-based client is highly reputable and well-established, whilst continuing to grow and advance within their sector. Their finance team offer a supportive environment that promotes collaboration and the chance to take on a range of credit control responsibilities. The role will involve debt collection reducing aged debt, resolving queries, payment allocations, managing accounts and assessing credit risk.

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in a similar role where you worked towards KPI’s or successfully met other targets
• Experience handling large data sets, using accounting software and IT Systems including Excel
• Excellent time management and organisational skills in order to handle a range of tasks and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills in order to confidently manage a large portfolio of clients, regularly liaising with them both over the phone and by email.
