Credit Controller

Overview

An emergent, high-growth and progressive professional services business based in Leamington Spa is looking for an enthusiastic and positive Credit Controller to support their remarkable expansion. As the company embarks on its next phase of development, your role will naturally evolve in line with the growth of the business – meaning natural advancement of this important role will be inevitable.

Working closely with the Finance Director in a vibrant office, you will take complete responsibility on a wide variety of duties in both sales ledger and credit control, for a flourishing and growing corporate business. Joining a large finance team, this position will see you building relationships with and chasing debtors, monitoring credit records and performing credit checks, maintenance of the sales ledger accounts, liaising with solicitors, negotiating when necessary and dealing with any ad-hoc queries.

Ideally, you will:

• Have a proven track record within credit control, confident in managing a large corporate ledger and providing effective reporting to senior management
• Be a naturally organised, confident and assured individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Thrive when working under pressure, and have confidence in your ability to tactfully influence debtors to ensure your outstanding debtors are kept to a minimum
• Have excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and Word (Pivot Tables and V-Lookups)
