An established and growing professional services firm is seeking a reliable and efficient Credit Controller to join their finance team as an addition to the existing team. As part of a supportive team of Credit Controllers, you will take ownership of managing a portfolio of client accounts while maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. You will work closely with colleagues and build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure outstanding debt is collected efficiently and queries are resolved promptly. The role involves regular client contact, allocating payments, monitoring credit limits, producing aged debt and performance reports, resolving invoice queries, and supporting month-end processes. The ability to work at pace while maintaining excellent attention to detail and professionalism is essential.
Ideally, you will have:

AAT Level 2 or above (desirable) and at least 2 years’ experience in credit control

Experience within a legal or professional services environment (desirable)

Confident communicating with clients and internal stakeholders

Highly organised, accurate, and comfortable using Excel and finance systems
