Cost Accountant

Overview

Our client, a well-backed and highly progressive PE-backed business, is looking to appoint a confident Cost / Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. Working closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders, you’ll take ownership of management accounting and costing activity, playing a key role in understanding product profitability, margins, and performance. With exposure to Bills of Materials (BOM), cost analysis, and full P&L reporting, this role offers variety, visibility, and the chance to partner closely with non-finance teams as the business continues its growth journey.

Skills Needed

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Cost Accountant with strong P&L exposure.

• Hands-on experience with costing and BOM analysis within a manufacturing, engineering, or product-led environment.

• Confident business partner, comfortable working with operational and commercial teams.

• Strong Excel and systems skills, with an analytical and detail-focused approach.
