Commercial Management Accountant

Overview

My client, a leading name in the Services sector, is searching for a commercially driven Finalist, Management Accountant to take ownership of reporting for a series of exciting, high-impact projects and mergers and acquisitions. Working closely with the Head of Reporting, this role offers outstanding exposure, you’ll be front and centre, presenting budgets, projections, and analysis to senior stakeholders and shaping financial performance across multiple commercial cost centres.

This is a vibrant, fast-paced team where your influence will be felt from day one. You’ll partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure full visibility and understanding of financial activity, using your insight to challenge assumptions, drive accountability, and support cost control. Alongside your commercial responsibilities, you’ll be producing monthly reporting, assessing balance sheet controls, steering the annual budget cycle, and leading a key process improvement project to enhance the way the business operates.

Skills Required

• Ideally you’ll be a CIMA/ACCA finalist, but this isn’t essential, if you’re currently studying, you are strongly encouraged to apply.
• You’ll bring confidence and clarity in your communication, able to challenge constructively and influence at all levels.
• A strong accounting foundation with a commercial mindset is essential, along with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance teams.
• Experience in process improvement or change management would be an advantage.
