Overview
Mitchell Adam is proud to once again partner with one of our longstanding clients, a dynamic, multi-faceted retail PLC based in South Birmingham. We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Analyst to join their head office team near Redditch. In this role, you will support the wider finance function by producing and presenting financial reports that help drive informed business decisions.
You’ll work with large datasets, perform detailed analysis, and collaborate with internal stakeholders – many of whom are non-finance professionals, to communicate key findings and variances. Your insights will also support quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and experience with data visualisation or dashboarding tools is highly desirable.
Skills needed

Experience in a retail or similarly fast-paced environment is preferred.

Degree-qualified in finance or a related field, and currently studying towards ACCA or CIMA.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Previous experience in an industry-based finance role, particularly with data analysis and reporting.
