Commercial Finance Analyst

Summary

We’re currently seeking a part qualified Commercial Finance Analyst to join our not-for-profit client’s accounts function based near Redditch. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing trailblazer eager to make their mark by implementing innovative ideas and conducting thorough analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to explore various aspects of the business, as you compile bulletproof budgets.

Reporting into the qualified Finance Manager, you will support operational leadership teams across multiple national sites. Your primary responsibility will involve assessing and addressing operational performance improvements through the production of Management Accounts and variance analysis. Additionally, you will engage with non-financial stakeholders to give your commentary on forecasts, budgets and actuals.

Skills required

• Demonstrated ability to drive results and challenge existing processes for enhancement.
• Experience in budget or forecast analysis, as well as constructing compelling variance and commentary.
• Previous exposure to retail accounts environment is advantageous, particularly in stock accounting complexities.
• Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables implementation, with Macro creation skills being desirable.
