Client Accounting Team Leader

Mitchell Adam are proud to be supporting a leading Property Management business in the appointment of a Client Accounting Team Leader, a role designed for someone ready to move beyond individual delivery and begin shaping how client accounting is done. This position sits at the centre of a key client relationship, where you’ll balance technical oversight, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership, ensuring a high standard of service while supporting the development of a growing team.

As Team Leader, you’ll act as the senior finance contact for the client, overseeing reporting, resolving complex queries, and ensuring service levels are consistently met. Alongside this, you’ll support and guide a small team, reviewing work, sharing knowledge, and helping to develop the next generation of client accountants. You’ll work closely with senior management to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and excellent client satisfaction.

Skills Needed

• Strong background in client or property accounting, with experience managing complex portfolios

• Confidence delivering and reviewing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and reconciliations

• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and lead conversations with senior clients

• An interest in leadership, coaching, and developing others, even if this is your first formal management role
