Client Accountant

Overview

Mitchell Adam are pleased to be partnering with a well-regarded Property Management organisation, based in the heart of the city, to recruit a Client Accountant. The business has enjoyed consistent growth and, with further expansion planned, is seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to take ownership of a newly on-boarded client within its established finance function. This role provides excellent professional exposure and the opportunity to contribute within a large, structured team.

You will be responsible for overseeing multiple sites for one client, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. As a service charge specialist, you will prepare budgets and forecasts, analyse variances and shortfalls, and manage tenant recharges. Building strong client relationships and maintaining the highest standards of service will be central to your success in this position.

Skills Needed

• Have previous experience managing your own portfolio of properties, including the relationships and reporting.
• Be studying for your ACCA or CIMA, and aim to actively study in the new role.
• Have a great understanding of service charge budgeting and forecasting.
• ‘Excel’ at your use of spreadsheets, to be used alongside dedicated property management systems.
