Client Accountant

Overview

Due to expansion into new areas and the on boarding of large clientele, our Property Management client based in the beating heart of the city is on boarding an experienced Client Accountant into their large, dedicated client finance function – specialising in preparing rigorous financial reports for a new project.

The perfect candidate for this position will have already gained a base level of experience within reporting for their own client portfolio, ideally within the property sector, compiling reports to IFRS 16 standards on Service Charges in particular. In this position you will find that no two days feel the same, as you will also be involved with creating the Management Accounts pack, essentially business partnering with internal colleagues (outside of finance) and clients alike.

Skills needed

• It is crucial that the successful candidate is part qualified and studying their ACCA/CIMA qualification and is able to effectively demonstrate knowledge of financial and management reporting.
• Experience in managing a client portfolio from a practice or property management environment.
• Ideally, you will have had exposure to Service Charge reporting and IFRS 16.
• Be an engaging but analytically minded and system savvy individual, capable of picking up new systems and building relationships.
