Bookkeeper

Mitchell Adam are pleased to be working with a long-established business within the wholesale and distribution sector to recruit a Bookkeeper. As Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained while supporting the smooth operation of the business. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll be involved in a wide variety of accounting activities and will regularly liaise with colleagues across different departments, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and hands-on finance position.

Skills Needed

• Previous bookkeeping or transactional finance experience, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, invoice processing and payment management.
• A strong understanding of day-to-day accounting procedures, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Confident communication skills, with experience working closely with finance colleagues and wider business stakeholders.
• Experience using accounting software and Excel
