Assistant Management Accountant

Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a successful international services business based in Warwick who are looking to add an Assistant Management Accountant to their growing finance function. This role is ideal for someone who has built a strong foundation within finance and is now looking for the opportunity to broaden their experience, take ownership of key areas and develop towards a more senior accounting position.

Rather than being limited to one area of finance, this position offers exposure across the wider accounting function, giving you the opportunity to understand how a global business operates. You will become a key point of contact for the financial activity of an overseas entity, supporting accurate reporting, analysing performance and ensuring financial information is delivered to a high standard.

With involvement across month-end, international finance processes and continuous improvement projects, this role provides the variety needed to accelerate your development. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals and wider business stakeholders, gaining exposure to areas such as multi-currency accounting, VAT, reporting improvements and process optimisation, while building the skills required to progress within your career.

Skills Needed

• Previous experience within a finance role with exposure to month-end or management accounting processes.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles including journals, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Confident Excel user with the ability to manipulate and analyse financial data.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ambitious finance professional looking to develop and progress within a growing business.
