Assistant Management Accountant

Overview
Mitchell Adam is partnering with a well-established, national Property organisation based in the heart of the city centre to recruit an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the early stages of their accounting journey who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, stable, and supportive environment.

You’ll become an integral part of a respected finance team within a business known for its specialist service offering and strong market reputation. In this role, you will provide key support to the wider accounts function, gaining valuable exposure to a variety of finance activities including monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and data analysis. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of monthly accounts (covering accruals, prepayments, and journals), performing balance sheet and client fund reconciliations, and communicating directly with clients to provide financial insight and updates.

Skills Needed

• Actively studying towards ACCA or CIMA with a solid grounding in double entry bookkeeping.

• Previous experience working with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• A proactive approach with a genuine desire to learn, develop, and build your practical accounting skills.

• Confident using Excel, including pivot tables and basic analytical functions.
