Mitchell Adam is excited to announce the continuation of a long-standing relationship with an established hospitality organisation in Solihull. This organisation has been a staple of UK High Streets for decades and are looking to bring on a talented Assistant Management Accountant into their social and experienced team. The organisation have expanded tremendously in recent years and have shown their resilience to continue to grow through the decade, despite many of their competitors suffering long term decline due to the pandemic. Their offices are newly renovated and are within close distance of the local train stations, alternatively due to their free on-site parking there are opportunities to arrive to work via car.

The organisation has shown its tendency to progress and grow. They have been cautious not to overreach with their internal recruitment but believe now is a fantastic time to grow their fantastic finance function. They are looking for a talented Assistant Management Accountant to join their terrific team and Senior Management will be on hand to assist with any duties and overall development. As an Assistant Management Accountant, there will be various paths to progression, you could eventually take on more analytical responsibilities and go down the path as a finance analyst, alternatively you could be more involved with discussions and gain some business partnering responsibilities. Skills Required

  • To be confident and charismatic, this role will see you interacting with a variety of individuals, ranging in level of seniority. It is essential to be able to communicate in an effective manner.
  • To either be actively studying your ACCA or CIMA Qualification, or to have respectable level of experience completing month end tasks.
  • To have experience working on the P&L, posting journals such as accruals and prepayments and to have completed reconciliation’s on the bank and balance sheet.
  • To be ambitious and eager to progress in your career. The opportunities are endless in this organisation for an ambitious individual, it is key to be able to produce a high quality of work in order to meet these aims.
