Mitchell Adam are delighted to be assisting our growing Financial Services client based in Solihull, as they embark on the next phase of growth, and look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their small, supportive function. The successful applicant will be joining a firm, part of a family owned, FTSE listed business. This is a great opportunity for an Assistant to step up into a role with progression and study support.

As this award-winning business jumps from strength to strength you will be joining to assist the Qualified Finance Manager in compiling the month end management accounts pack. You will be assisting with duties from accruals, prepayments and in depth balance sheet analysis. You will also be involved in thorough business analysis, identifying KPI performance.

Skills needed

  • Currently be studying a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
  • Have prior experience in preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Be comfortable in your knowledge of accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Have strong Excel skills, able to implement pivot tables and use lookups.
