Mitchell Adam are delighted to be working alongside a trailblazing Logistics firm growing circa 50% YoY, with the appointment of the Financial Controllers right hand, to get involved over the entire business and continue to drive development within the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded part qualified Accountant to work closely with the C-Suite, develop processes, take control of month end and implement new processes.
The day to day in this position will encompass a variety of tasks to allow the successful candidate to get a plethora of commercial and operational exposure, really getting under the data of the business to understand what drives change. You’ll be involved with everything from supporting transactionally with reconciliations, through setting budgets, maintaining rolling forecasts and extrapolating variance from large data sets in order to educate the CEO on all financial matters.
Skills Needed
- We are looking for a candidate already part qualified ACCA or CIMA with a desire to continue their professional qualifications.
- Ideally, you will have already worked in an SME within an analytically based finance role, and prepared month end packs.
- Be a confident communicator able to work seamlessly with non-financial stakeholders.
- Be commercially astute in nature, and looking forward to dynamic work where each day is different.
