The role, based in Redditch’s head office as a Commercial Analyst, involves preparing and conveying financial reports to aid the company in making more informed decisions, supporting the broader finance team.
The responsibilities encompass analysing extensive datasets, interpreting them, and collaborating with non-financial internal stakeholders to present findings and variance figures. These analyses will assist in preparing quarterly budgets and forecasts for internal departments. Proficiency in Excel is crucial, and familiarity with presentation/dashboard tools would be beneficial.
- Ideally, candidates will have a retail background and an understanding of a fast-paced environment.
- A finance qualification and current pursuit of ACCA/CIMA.
- Strong communication skills are pivotal, considering the interaction with various financial and non-financial stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Prior experience in an industry accounts role, specifically in analysis and communication of findings.
