Following continued expansion and a growing franchise, they are now looking to strengthen their finance team with an enthusiastic and Excel-savvy Assistant Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in bookkeeping who is eager to take the next step and build a long-term career.

Joining a close-knit finance division of around ten, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end process, preparing accruals, prepayments and balance sheets. A strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping is essential, as you will be trusted to ensure accuracy and provide valuable support across the team. This role offers the perfect blend of technical challenge, hands-on learning, and data management exposure.

Key Requirements

• Experience preparing accruals and prepayments, with solid knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills – you will be tested on this; training will also be provided on internal systems.
• A proactive mindset, eager to learn and improve processes.
