We have a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take a step into an Assistant Accountant role with our well-established clients based in Birmingham City Centre. They are looking for someone to come in on a long-term contract basis to cover for a colleague that has moved on from the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is immediately available and has some experience in a property business to step into an Assistant Accountant role.

Our client is looking for someone with a good understanding of rent and service charge, even if this comes from a junior or admin role. If you have some month-end experience that would be preferable but they are open to training the right individual. They are looking to move very quickly for this role so please only apply if you are immediately available.

Skills Required

  • Have prior experience in Property business, ideally in an account’s role with knowledge of rent and service charge
  • Someone eager to learn and pick up new responsibilities
  • Someone who has a high attention to detail and is quick to pick up new systems
  • Be immediately available or on a one-week notice, because our client is looking to move pretty quickly with this role

  • Work alongside well-experience colleagues and Qualified accountants, that will offer individualised training on month-end reporting
