Overview

We are looking for an AP Supervisor on a 12 month FTC to support a fantastic business for maternity cover.

As an experienced AP Supervisor you will oversee a team of four. This team has junior members so will require an individual who is confident offering both training and guidance. You will review the teams work, checking the accuracy and integrity – while motivating them to hit their personal and team targets.

You will ensure the smooth running of the AP function by effectively delegating but also ensuring the smooth operations of the payment runs. You will ensure ledgers are operated accurately, efficiently and to an agreed time scale.

Skills required

  • Be an experienced AP Supervisor with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role – experience supervising a team is essential.
  • Be a strong and confident communicator. This role requires a versatile individual who can build strong relationships and be stern when necessary
  • Possess good time management skills. The ability to organise your team and perform under pressure is extremely important for this position
  • Be immediately available or on a short notice period.
