Overview

An amazing opportunity has become available within a SME business in the Birmingham City Centre for an all-rounder Administrator. This position is perfect for someone who has been working in administration for a while who is looking to transition into something a bit more challenging and start taking on some new responsibilities! This role will eventually be supporting the finance team with purchase order requests and occasional invoice support, so any prior exposure to this will be beneficial.

This position is a 12 month fixed term contract, where there is a chance that this could convert into a permanent position through out or potentially at the end. The successful candidate will be providing all round support to a few of the managers at the business, including a director. This role here is looking begin quite quickly so please only apply if you are either immediately available or on a short notice period (such as one week).

Skills required

  • Have worked in an Administration position previously, even better if you have supported a finance team with purchase orders or invoice support.
  • Be confident on excel as this position will require you to manage the company spreadsheets via excel.
  • Be a confident, friendly person who is happy to be a face for the company and is comfortable with assisting with customer service responsibilities involved in this role.
  • Have exposure providing ad-hoc support to a variety of managers within a business.
