Based in their Wolverhampton offices, this role is ideal for an individual who excels at working autonomously to manage their own ledger, covering Accounts Payable processes including but not limited to processing invoices, reconciling of accounts and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. Within this position you will play a key role in the continued success of the finance team, ensuring the smooth financial processes of the business. This role is also a perfect opportunity to enter a company whereby you will be able to grow alongside the business, making the most of opportunities for career progression.

Ideally you will be:

  • An experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with knowledge of using Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS) and exposure to other accounting software.
  • Whilst not essential it is advantageous if you have experience working in a similar role within the manufacturing sector covering a high-volume ledger.
  • Excel at working autonomously to maintain your own ledger, as well as collaboratively liaising with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and work efficiently in the team.
