The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the purchase ledger function within a busy and fast-paced finance team. You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, resolving invoice and payment queries, and ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time. Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments as well as external suppliers, you will contribute to maintaining efficient financial processes and strong supplier relationships. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and the confidence to manage a varied workload effectively.
Ideally, you will:
- Have previous experience working within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger position, ideally within a high-volume processing environment.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

- Have experience using accounting systems; SAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
