A great opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger to join a really exciting, growing company. This position is ideally suited to an individual with previous purchase ledger experience who is looking to further develop their finance career within a supportive, professional, and fast-paced environment.

Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments across the business. The role offers broad exposure to the finance function, with regular interaction with operational teams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders, as well as the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and business efficiencies.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing a high-volume workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate purchase ledger records, resolving supplier queries, supporting cash flow processes, and ensuring all payments are processed within agreed timescales.

Skills and experience required

  • Proven experience working within a finance environment, with a strong understanding of Purchase Ledger processes.
  • Good understanding of finance systems and accounting procedures, as well as great Excel knowledge including Vlookups & Pivot Tables.
  • Experience processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
