Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time. The role involves processing a high volume of invoices, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting month-end activities, while working closely with purchasing, operations, and other departments across the business. You will take responsibility for maintaining the purchase ledger and contribute to the efficient running of the finance function within a busy manufacturing environment.
Skills and experience required
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable including purchase ledger processes including reconciliations and payment runs.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with suppliers and internal teams
- The ability to work independently, as well as a team to ensure all KPIs are hit in a timely manner.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
