Accounts Payable Clerk

Our market dominating company are currently on the lookout for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who can join the team and hit the ground running. Our client has recently taken on a new and exciting project and is looking for someone to come in and support the team. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for managing the accounts payable ledger with accuracy and efficiency. You will take on tasks such as; processing and verifying supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies efficiently, uphold well-organised financial records, and carry out regular payment runs. You will also liaise with the senior stakeholders of the business as well as the wider finance function to contribute to the smooth running of the project.

Skills Required

• Have a strong background within Accounts Payable with prior experience within the function allowing you to hit the ground running.
• Proficiency using Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS).
• Have strong interpersonal skills allowing you to liaise with key stakeholders of the business as well collaborate with the wider finance function effectively.
• Have a keen eye for detail allowing you to quickly spot and resolve discrepancies.
