Accounts Payable Clerk

This role is ideal for an individual who excels at working autonomously to manage their own ledger, covering accounts payable processes including but not limited to processing invoices, reconciling of accounts and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. Within this position you will play an important part in the continued success of the finance team, ensuring the smooth financial processes of the business. This role is perfect for someone looking to get straight into work with an immediate start.

Ideally, you will:

• Be an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with knowledge of using Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS) and exposure to other accounting software.
• Whilst not essential it is advantageous if you have experience working in a similar role within the logistics sector cover a high-volume ledger.
• Excel at working autonomously to maintain your own ledger, as well as collaboratively liaising with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills allowing you to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and work efficiently in the team.
