Accounts Payable Clerk

We are currently working on a fantastic opportunity for an immediately available Accounts Payable Clerk within a well-established business based on the outskirts of Birmingham. This company is multifaceted and continues to grow year on year with unique projects and a worldwide outreach.

They are now looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team and become an integral member. You will be tasked with taking on responsibilities such as; completing payment runs, supplier statement reconciliation, working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders and handling complex queries. You will need to have a background of working in fast paced environments and feel confident liaising with senior stakeholders, as you will be a key member of the team, partnering with senior finance to suggest better ways of operating.

Ideally you will be:

• Be an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk, who has exposure working in fast paced environments and feels comfortable liaising with key suppliers.
• Have covered all areas of Purchase Ledger including; completing high worth payment runs and allocating large transaction payments.
• Outgoing and confident individual, who enjoys liaising with stakeholders both inside and outside of finance at all levels of business on a regular basis.
• Be flexible in your approach, capable of managing your area of the accounts payable function but still open to assisting with ad hoc requests on other accounts.
