Accounts Payable Clerk

Based in their Birmingham office, the successful applicant will enjoy a varied role with duties covering end to end processes of the purchase ledger. Some of the main duties will include processing and 3-way matching of invoices, supplier statement reconciliations and bank reconciliations, handling queries and resolving discrepancies. As well as assisting with month end, financial reports and streamlining processes. This role is ideal for anyone looking to work in a team where they can bring the skills and knowledge they’ve acquired to date in their career to improve processes and contribute to meeting the team’s goals.

What you will need:

• Due to the company’s global operations, experience working with multiple currencies is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role is essential. Whilst not a requirement it is also advantageous if you have experience managing a high value ledger and working with KPIs.
• Have a collaborative nature to contribute to the team’s friendly and supportive culture.
• Strong Excel skills including being able to use both Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS.
