For an immediately available Purchase Ledger Clerk, our client in the Retail sector are looking to add two new members to their team. This is a good hire to expand the team following great growth over the last two years, and also in order to get the function ready for the busy buying period on the run up to the busy winter period. You will be responsible for all end to end Accounts Payable processes, from three-way matching to payment runs.

Skills required

  • Have applicable accounting experience, ideally within Accounts Payable, that you have accrued working in a similar position for at least two years.
  • Be a driver, with your own car.
  • Have confidence in your communication skills in order to resolve queries via telephone and email.
  • Hold a good level of Excel skill, knowing how to use V-Lookups and Pivot Tables to assist you with high volume reconciliation.
